Scott McClelland is the former President of H-E-B Food/Drug Stores. In his capacity, Scott oversaw the operations of all HEB banners across the state of Texas. He retired from the company in January 2023. Named as one of America’s top Grocery Retailers, he led the company through significant growth.  McClelland led H-E-B’s expansion into Houston, Lubbock and Dallas/Fort Worth.  Previously, he worked in Pepsico’s Frito Lay division.

 

McClelland received his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern California and graduated from Harvard’s Advanced Management Program. He continues to be deeply involved in community service, such as non-profits, food bank, and educational initiatives.

 

McClelland will be speaking on the importance of culture in our businesses and schools, as you build customer service models that support your communities. He will relay stories of how H-E-B knows their communities and meets the needs of the consumer.
