Megan Chavez serves as the Vice President of Experience at Cook Children’s Health Care System, one of the largest freestanding pediatric systems in the country.  In this role, she leads a comprehensive strategy that integrates staff and physician well-being, team dynamics and the patient family experience into a unified approach to care. 

 

For more than 20 years, she has served as an experience leader and advisor to several nationally top-ranked, large healthcare systems across the country leading organizational change, high performance cultures and experience excellence. She is passionate about creating environments where caregivers thrive and families feel seen, heard, cared for and safe.  She has spearheaded system-wide initiatives that strengthen collaborative team culture, elevate patient- and family-centered care and advance workforce well-being as a driver of quality and outcomes.
